About the event
Wednesday 1st Oct - 18:30 - 19:00 online - prayer liturgy before we start to fast.
Thursday 2nd Oct - 10:00 - 18:15 The Prayer house will be available for those who would like to come to Red Hill to use it for private reflection.
Thursday evening - 18:40 break-fast soup & roll supper, served from the Dovecote - for those who have been fasting.
Please reserve your ticket for the break-fast supper - no charge but donations welcome.
Yom Kippur (Yom Ki-POOR), also known as Day of Atonement, one of the eight Appointed Times of the LORD (Lev. 23) and considered the holiest day of the year by the Jewish people. Yom means “day” and Kippur means “atonement” or “covering.”
