About Yuval & Ruth Shaked
Yuval Shaked comes from a secular Israeli family and after serving in the army for three years, he came to faith in the USA whilst traveling. Ruth was born in the Netherlands into the third generation of a family of believers. In 1995 she emigrated to Israel (made aliyah), and was the first of her family to do so. During her early years in the Land, she worked in the tourism industry in the south of Israel and it was there at a local fellowship of believers that she met Yuval. They were then married 1999. They now live in Jerusalem because of Yuval’s work as a certified Israeli tour guide. Both Ruth and Yuval receive regular invitations to share and speak at congregations in several countries (for example the USA, South Africa, England, Australia, Sweden). Ruth’s speaking engagements began 27 years ago in the Netherlands upon completion of her theology studies. Some of the defining characteristics of Ruth’s messages are the personal challenge she presents before the listener and the balance between the Word and the Spirit.
