Combined with Simchat Torah is Shemini Atzerot, celebrating the eighth day of Tabernacles and signifying 'new beginnings'. It reminds us of our new beginning in Yeshua and points us to His Return, when everything will be made new.

  • This holiday is celebrated by candle lighting and festive meals and compacted into one 24 hour period.
  • The Torah scrolls are held aloft and seven circuits, known as the 'hakafot', are danced.
