Red Hill Stretch Tent - Free Event, Heath End, Snitterfield, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 0PQ, UK

About the event

Above the ark that houses the Torah scrolls in every Synagogue that I have stood, are written in Hebrew the words דע לפני מי אתה עומד (“Da lifne mi attah omed”) - Know before whom you stand.

Everyone who approaches the throne of God to worship Him must first consider who it is that they stand before, who it is that they offer themselves to and what is He worthy of?

This will be a time to (re)connect with God through worship, teaching, meditation on Scripture and stillness focusing on the greatness, the majesty and the glory of our God - Creator of heaven and earth.

The day will include times of corporate teaching and worship as well as time in the woodland and open spaces of the Red Hill estate, amidst God’s creation. Please bring clothing and footwear appropriate for walking and sitting and the changeable British weather! Please bring your own lunch.

Tom is the Director at Red Hill, and oversees all aspects of the work along with his wife Olivia and daughters Elia & Tahli.

In 2011, God called Tom and Olivia to take a step of faith, to sell their house and for Tom to leave his job as a Police Officer, in order that they would be free to serve the Lord in whatever way He required.

Since then Tom has served both in the UK and abroad as a teacher and worship leader, serving with Ebenezer Operation Exodus since 2012 and as Director of Red Hill since 2017.

Tom is a passionate teacher and student with a particular interest in understanding the Hebraic context and culture of the Scriptures. He has been studying Biblical Hebrew with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem since 2012, and enjoys teaching others what he has learned.

Red Hill is a small Christian charity and relies on the provision of God through the giving of individuals to continue His work. This is a free event, however if you feel you would like to contribute to the work of Red Hill, you can now donate whilst booking your tickets.  Please just manually enter the amount into the "write a price" box.
