Hedgerow Medicine & Foraging
Do you know what lies in your hedgerows, woods, and gardens? They are packed full of medicines, foods and much more. Come and investigate in this day led by Mark Kirby.
Time & Location
24 Oct 2020, 09:30 – 16:00
Red Hill, Heath End, Snitterfield, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 0PQ, UK
About the Event
Getting to know the world of nature around you opens up doors to the bountiful provision on your doorstep and its diverse and eclectic uses. The many 'heroes' and 'villains' of our hedgerows, gardens, and woods provide medicines, foods, survival/bushcraft skills, and a natural first aid kit.
These sessions will open your eyes, as we investigate our natural world and develop our awareness of its bounty in each season (depending on when a session is running), having time to forage, enjoy practical activities, taste our finds, understand medicines and work together to have fun and time to develop skills.
£20 per person. Bring your own lunch.
Please get in contact for more details or if you have any queries about private bookings.
