WE ARE OPEN
COVID 19 Update
A message from Director, Tom Brooker - Updated Tuesday, 21st July 2020
We are delighted to be able to welcome you back to Red Hill, in view of the exciting news that the government have eased the COVID 19 restrictions governing the use of the Centre. We want you to know, particularly in view of the ongoing threat from the Coronavirus, that your safety and well-being are our primary concern.
We are adhering to the 2m Social distancing rule (less with mitigation) across the whole Centre to protect everyone and have placed additional signs around the Centre as a reminder.
We have greatly reduced our capacity, so that we can ensure ‘Social Distancing’ is maintained in all our indoor spaces, to maximise your safety. We have also changed the ‘timings’ within which you can hire the Centre, to enable us to put in place the new ‘COVID secure,’ deep cleaning process, before and after each booking.
The Barn is available to book for meetings; however, the capacity is now x13 with tables and x16 without tables.
The Upper room can hold a maximum of x4 people.
The Prayer House (Beit Lechem) is still available for you to use during your stay; however, a maximum of x7 people can use it at any one time. It is recommended to leave the door propped open and use a face covering while using this space.
Residential rooms are now single-use rooms, unless members of the same family are hiring the twin rooms.
Unfortunately, for the present, there is no access to the shared corner room.
It is unfortunate too that we are unable to provide any catering or tea and coffee making facilities for either a ‘quiet day’ or ‘barn bookings’ however, we are anticipating formal guidance on this may change in the near future.
We also want to make you aware that all guests and visitors are required to fill in a ‘Tracing Contact’ form with minimal contact details. This information will be deleted after 21 days.
Red Hill remains a sanctuary that is here to provide a safe, comfortable environment for you. We hope and pray that despite these current safety measures you will receive the rest and refreshment you are seeking.
In common with other charities and small businesses, Red Hill continues to find itself in a vulnerable position. Even under normal circumstances, Red Hill Christian Centre is dependent on gifts and donations, in addition to the sales of tickets and services, just to cover our operating costs of approx. £11,000 per month. We operate on very slim margins, with a small committed team who have made personal sacrifices in order to serve the vision for the centre.
We still need your assistance; now more than ever. If you are able to make a donation it will go toward supporting the continued provision of Red Hill and it will enable us to maintain basic running costs, plan ahead and help to support the staff.
We are hugely thankful to all who have supported Red Hill Christian Centre over the years and want you to know that we are praying for you in these extraordinary times.
