Red Hill Christian Centre TEMPORARY CLOSURE
A message from Director, Tom Brooker - Updated Weds. 27th May 2020
The impact of COVID19 on the UK and World will not have escaped anyone’s notice. At Red Hill Christian Centre we want to assure you that the safety and welfare of our customers, congregation and staff are of utmost concern. With this in mind, and in accordance with UK Government guidance, all events and activities at Red Hill are currently suspended.
This means that all bookings and events including Church / Congregation related activities and weekly worship services are suspended or postponed.
The most recent UK Government guidance suggests that Red Hill may be able to reopen from Saturday 4th July 2020. At this stage, however, it is not clear to what extent Red Hill will be able to function with "Business As Usual" so we will be keeping our status under constant review, and look to provide a further update closer to the time.
In common with other charities and small businesses, Red Hill finds itself in a vulnerable position. Even under normal circumstances, Red Hill Christian Centre is dependent on gifts and donations, in addition to the sales of tickets and services, just to cover our operating costs of approx. £11,000 per month. We operate on very slim margins, with a small committed team who have made personal sacrifices in order to serve the vision for the centre.
We need your support more than ever at this time. A donation, if you are able to make one, will enable us to maintain basic running costs, plan ahead and help to support the staff.
We are hugely thankful to all who have supported Red Hill Christian Centre over the years, and want you to know that we are praying for you in these extraordinary times.
The office is open, and able to respond to calls and emails if you would like to get in touch.
Along with the staff team and the Board of Trustees, I look forward to welcoming you back when Red Hill reopens.
