Booking Policy

Booking Policy

 

Please take the time to read.

Arrival & Access

 

1.1. Please check-in at reception on arrival.

1.2. Reception is typically staffed between 9am and 4pm.

1.3. The site is open for access to guests between 9am and 10pm each day.

1.4. Access outside these hours is not encouraged.

Residential Guests

 

2.1. Rooms are charged per person per night and are either single or twin.

2.2. Single occupancy of a twin room may attract a £10 surcharge.

2.3. Residential rooms have access to the Corner Room, a cosy communal dining area with seating and kitchen.

2.4. Check-in is between 2pm and 6pm. Please advise if you need to arrive outside these times.

2.5. Rooms must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Late check-out is available subject
to availability (£15).

2.6. On leaving, please leave the room key in the outside of the door to indicate the room is vacant.

Venue Hire

 

3.1. Entry to the Barn and Upper Room is not available before 8.45am.

3.2. Meeting spaces must be vacated by the agreed time to allow turn around for subsequent use.

3.3. Tea, coffee & biscuits are included with hire of the Barn, Upper Room and Dovecote. Groups larger
than 25 will attract a surcharge.

Quiet Days

 

4.1. Quiet days are charged per person and include tea, coffee & biscuits, but exclude use of the main Barn.

4.2. Guests on Quiet Days should be aware that Red Hill may be hosting other groups and some noise
may be unavoidable.

Catering

5.1. Final numbers and food allergies must be submitted at least 10 working days prior to the booking.

5.2. If catering is required, but specific choices have not been made within 10 days of the booking,
the chef will make the food choice.

5.3. Lunch is served at 12:30pm unless otherwise agreed.

Camping Pitches

 

6.1. Pitches are charged per pitch per night for up to 2 people.

6.2. Surcharges apply for each additional guest.

6.3. Under 18’s can only be accommodated if they are accompanied by an adult.

6.4. Check-in is between 2pm and 6pm. Please advise if you need to arrive outside these times.

6.5. Pitches must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure unless by prior agreement.

6.6. All pitches have use of the new toilet and shower block, disposal points (chemical waste & grey water), freshwater taps, waste bins and washing up area.

6.7. Charging of electric vehicles is strictly prohibited on site.

6.8. Hire of the half barrel BBQ does not include fuel or utensils and guests will need to provide their own.

6.9. Campfires and disposable BBQ’s are not permitted however elevated fire pits and gas BBQ’s are allowed.

Smoking

 

7.1. In accordance with current legislation, smoking is not permitted in any room, building, or venue.

7.2. Smoking is permitted in the courtyard providing it is away from all buildings and is not a nuisance to others.

7.3. Used cigarette stubs & matches etc, should be disposed of in the dedicated bin on the external wall
of the barn.

Dogs

 

8.1. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but prior agreement is required, and they will incur a daily charge.

8.2. All dogs must be kept on a lead while outside.

8.3. Guide dogs are always permitted free of charge.

8.4. Dogs are not allowed on furniture (including beds).

8.5. Waste must be cleaned up immediately using biodegradable bags and disposed of in the general

waste bins provided.

Loss Or Damage

 

 9.1. Red Hill accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to equipment or valuables brought on site by guests.

9.2. Vehicles and contents are parked entirely at owner’s risk.

9.3. Damage to, or loss of Red Hill property by individuals or groups will be charged to them. This includes all

buildings, structures, fittings, furniture, equipment, and utensils etc.

Bookings & Cancellations

 

10.1. Provisional bookings will be held for 14 days from the date of enquiry.

10.2. A booking is only confirmed once Red Hill receive a completed booking form and payment of the deposit.

10.3. A deposit is required for all bookings.

10.4. All corporate bookings must be accompanied by a purchase order number and a completed booking form.

10.5. Cancellations in whole or part should be made in writing.

10.6. Cancelled bookings and ‘non-arrivals’ incur a financial loss to Red Hill.

10.7. Red Hill are not obliged to return deposits where the booking is cancelled by the customer,
and at their discretion may impose the below penalties.

General

 

11.1. Red Hill accepts no responsibility for being unable to provide facilities or services which have not been specified and confirmed prior to the booking.
